Tragically widowed on her wedding night, Anggun attempts to rebuild her life by returning to university, where she finds solace in her growing romance with Indra, a fellow student who works as a driver to fund his education. However, their relationship is threatened by a scandal when Indra's employer, the wealthy and manipulative Wieke, becomes pregnant and coerces him into taking the blame to cover up the identity of the real father. Caught in a tangled web of gossip and duty, Anggun finds her new chance at happiness jeopardized by a lie she cannot disprove.
