Norbert Terry
Norbert Terry, born Norbert Alfred Torasso, is a French film director, producer, and distributor, known for his pioneering work in gay pornography in France. Born in Jemappes, Algeria, he served in the French Forces during World War II. Post-war, Terry emigrated to the United States, adopting the name Norbert Terry. He returned to France and became a significant figure in the adult film industry, directing and producing films such as Rien que par derrière (1979) and Les Phallophiles (1979). Terry's work is noted for its bold exploration of homosexual themes, contributing to the visibility and acceptance of gay cinema in France.
